Wachira founded LIAISON GROUP in 1981 after several years of experience with a leading Reinsurance company in Kenya. Wachira holds a B.Sc. (Business Administration) degree from the United States University of San Diego, California, USA. He is an investor and a director of prominent tourism and real estate investments across Eastern Africa.
Tom is one of the pioneers of LIAISON GROUP. He holds a B.Com (University of Nairobi), Post Graduate MBA (University of Leicester, UK), and is also a Global Risk Management Institute, Inc RIMS Fellow (RF). Tom holds leadership positions in several economic and social enterprises across Africa and is a renowned entrepreneur.
James joined LIAISON GROUP in 2004 and has many years of leadership experience across diverse industries. He holds a Masters of Business Administration in Finance and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering both from The University of Nairobi. James also holds a Diploma in Insurance and is a Certified Public Account CPA (K) and a Certified Public Secretary CPS (K).
Jasper joined LIAISON GROUP in 2009, and has accumulated a wealth of experience in systems audit. He holds a Masters of Business Administration in Finance from The University of Nairobi and graduated from Maseno University With a Bachelor of Science Degree in Applied Statistics. A Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) from ISACA, Illinois USA, A Certified Retirement Benefits Trustee, and A Certified Public Accountant (CPA (K). Jasper is also an Oracle Database Administrator. He is a corporate governance professional and a Bullet Proof Manager from Crestcom International LLC, USA. Jasper is also a specialist in quality and financial controls and serves as the chair of the Board Audit and Governance Committee.
Brian joined LIAISON GROUP in 2007. He holds an MBA in Strategy and a Bachelor of Science degree in Actuarial Science both from The University of Nairobi. He is a certified Director and a Bullet Proof Manager from Crestcom International LLC, USA. Throughout his career, Brian has accumulated significant experience in the insurance industry especially in strategy formulation and implementation. He chairs the Board Group Business Development Committee.
Julius holds a Masters Degree of Business Administration in Strategic Management from Kenyatta University and a Bachelors of Science Degree from Moi University. He is also a bullet Proof Manager from Crestcom International LLC, USA. Julius joined LIAISON GROUP in 2005; he has a solid background experience in insurance and the healthcare industry. He is a member of Chartered Insurance Institute, UK and serves in the legislative committee of Medical Insurance Providers of Kenya (MIPAK).
Michael joined LIAISON GROUP in 2008 and has many years of experience in the Pensions industry. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Actuarial Science from The University of Nairobi (Kenya), a Certified Pensions Trustee and a Bullet Proof Manager from Crestcom International LLC, USA.
Victor Chumo joined LIAISON GROUP in 2018. A career investment and market research professional, he has extensive knowledge and skills in capital markets, investment analysis and financial advisory, covering both the local, regional and global markets. He has advised corporations and High Net Worth Individuals in Kenya on their investment strategies, having managed portfolio for offshore, high yield-seeking investors. He is a graduate of the University of Nairobi, holding a Bachelors of Commerce Degree (Accounting), a trained financial modelling analyst and a Certified Chartered Institute of Securities & Investment.
Mathini is an advocate of the High Court of Kenya. He holds a Bachelor of Law (LL.B) (MKU), a Masters in Law (LL.M) (Intellectual Property Law), from the University of Cape Town (UCT, South Africa). He is currently pursuing a PhD in Commercial ICT Law from UCT and is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA (K) and a Certified Secretary (CS (K). He oversees the group’s business legal strategy among other legal issues.”
Dan joined LIAISON GROUP in 2006 as part of the Group Academy and has over the years attained solid credentials as a Client Relationship and Customer Service Champion. Dan holds several Professional qualifications both in Insurance, Healthcare and Pensions and is our Business Leader across the Coast Region, Kenya.
Joan joined LIAISON GROUP in 2021. She is a dynamic HR Professional with over 10 years’ International and Regional experience in the Financial Services sector including Insurance, Insurance Brokerage, Banking under the Big Four Professional Services firm with an in- depth skill in distilling business strategy into people priorities through strategic thinking. She has worked in key markets including Hong Kong and Kigali.
Joan is deeply passionate about Talent Management- enabling individuals identify their strengths and opportunities and seeing how to bridge the two.
